At the 9th Annu­al Con­fer­ence “Con­struc­tion and Oper­a­tion of Com­mer­cial Kitchens and Com­pa­ny Cater­ing 2023”, every­thing will revolve around trends and effi­cien­cy in the sec­tor. As part of the exten­sive pro­gramme, Dr. Michael Meir­er, Rhein­tal­gas Asso­ci­a­tion, and Tobias Fin­ster­walder, Fin­ster­walder Umwelt­tech­nik, will focus on the top­ic of “Inno­v­a­tive small bio­gas plant: renew­able ener­gy from food waste” in their lec­ture. Con­crete exam­ples will be used to analyse the space require­ments, oper­a­tional inte­gra­tion, mass and ener­gy bal­ance and eco­nom­ic effi­cien­cy of a decen­tralised bio­gas plant and com­pare them with con­ven­tion­al solutions.
